A hands-on summer day camp sampling of STEM activities designed for curious thinkers aged 10-14. Participants will explore a variety of disciplines, including fun activities with Biology, CADD, Chemistry, Physics & Engineering, Health Science, Horticulture, and Math.
Each day features different, engaging experiences, from motion and forces in Physics, structural design in Engineering, digital modeling and printing with CADD, colour-changing reactions in Chemistry, life systems and anatomy in Biology and Health Science, data and measurement challenges in Math, to sustainable growing systems and plant science in Horticulture.
Campers will work in teams to brainstorm, design, and create projects whether building a catapult, modeling a 3-D printed object, experimenting with reactions, extracting DNA from fruit, constructing a self-watering garden or learning about the human body and wellness.

The fun and exciting week will begin with introductions and orientation to the program and appropriate safety training followed by exposure to 4-5 skilled trades through hands-on learning and instruction combined with storytelling.
