Summer Academy: Fashion & Technical Design is a basic, introduction to the world of technical apparel while being exposed to Vancouver’s globally recognized industry. Students will learn the basics of technical apparel design and construction and will create a customized waterproof jacket. This hands-on introductory course will include exclusive site visits to some of Vancouver’s leading technical apparel firms. By the end of the course, learners will have completed their own fully functional waterproof jacket.

No prior sewing experience is required. All classes are in person, with materials and transportation for industry site visits included.
This course can be offered to domestic and international audience.
